For me, storytelling has been a lifetime fascination. I remember moving from pencils and paper to computers and Microsoft Word when I was first allowed to use our family's computer to write short stories and poems.

Now, writing assignments are some of my favorite areas to dive into. Regardless of the topic, I am enthusiastic about bringing stories to life through sound interviews and certain facts. Whether it be a story on human rights violations in China, breaking the mental health stigma, or more simply, blogging while abroad or writing about country music, writing never fails to energize me.
